What are the real benefits of CBD?
Cannabidiol is increasingly used to relax, we hear a lot of supposed benefits about its use but what is it really and what does the scientific community think? This is what we will observe in this article.
Benefits often overestimated
It is important to remember that CBD is not a miracle product, some cannabidiol sellers attribute exceptional virtues to CBD. No, cannabidiol does not cure cancer or other serious diseases. These claims are even dangerous and it is absolutely necessary to go through a qualified doctor. Cannabidiol is more of a wellness product. There are a few studies that focus on the effects of CBD for serious illnesses, but these studies are too few and do not allow us to confirm anything.
But that does not mean that cannabidiol is completely useless, we will now see the cases in which CBD hemp can be useful.
To replace THC
Many regular cannabis smokers sometimes find it hard to quit. Indeed, THC cannabis is a drug that causes addiction from which it is sometimes difficult to get rid of. Many smokers are therefore moving towards CBD, which allows them to keep the habits and smells of cannabis without the addiction that goes with it. Cannabidiol is therefore a very good substitute for classic cannabis to make a smooth transition.
Be careful, however, it is important to remember that even if smoking CBD is less dangerous than THC, smoking still damages your lungs in the long term. This is why it is better to consume CBD in a vaporizer or by eating it directly.
To relax
As I said at the beginning of the article, cannabidiol should rather be considered as a product of well-being. It allows you to relax the body and the mind like a herbal tea or a tea. Many people therefore use it to calm down and sleep better, but once again cannabidiol will not solve serious stress or sleep problems.
A product that does not cause addiction
Another big advantage of cannabidiol is that it does not cause any heavy side effects or addiction. This is also why scientists are interested in it, it would make an excellent substitute for opiates for example. It is also possible to consume CBD without processing by eating the flowers directly, for example, which makes it a "natural" product, an important characteristic for some consumers.
Cannabidiol is therefore not a miracle product, but it still has its advantages and above all it does not present any major health risk.
