Is the Cannabis market at war for legalization?

The issue of cannabis legalization is a controversial topic that sparks debate in many countries around the world. There are different perspectives on this issue and a legalization "war" refers to the political, social and legal struggles that often occur when efforts are made to change cannabis laws.

Proponents of cannabis legalization generally argue for its regulation rather than its outright ban. They point to several reasons to support their position, such as:

1. Medical reasons: Some argue that cannabis has therapeutic properties and can be used to relieve symptoms related to diseases such as epilepsy, chronic pain, multiple sclerosis and certain forms of cancer. Legalization would allow wider access to cannabis products for medical purposes.

2. Economic reasons: Proponents of legalization point to the economic opportunities associated with the cannabis industry, such as job creation, tax revenue generation, and reduced costs associated with the enforcement of prohibition.

3. Social Justice Reasons: Some argue that cannabis prohibition has disproportionate effects on marginalized communities and contributes to racial disparities in the criminal justice system. Legalization is seen by some as a step towards a more fair and equal approach.

However, there are also opponents of the legalization of cannabis. Their arguments may include:

The legalization war often involves political battles, awareness campaigns, ballot initiatives, lawsuits and heated public debates. The so-called legal cannabis market also pushes the limits of a legal high by bringing new molecules every day that are not reported as drugs to institutes and therefore legal over a very short lifespan in view of the reaction of states that know how to be reactive. and wage "war" against molecules with effects similar to THC.

Let it be said, the war is not ready to be over, given the number of molecules exploitable by cannabis producers.

The answer is therefore yes, it seems that the war between CBD companies and states is well underway in order to defend a reason to legalize or continue to ban cannabis, for one or the other. Like any war, there are victims, in this case it is often the consumer who pays the consequences through an uncontrolled supply.
